Supporters of Brazil�s President Jair Bolsonaro took to the streets of Sao Paulo on Saturday forming a motorcade in protest against the current anti-coronavirus safety measures put in place by Sao Paulo�s Governor Joao Doria.

Footage shows the motorcade making its way through the streets demanding Doria�s impeachment and for the lockdown to be eased up to restart the economy

On Sunday, 19 April Bolsonaro participated in an anti-COVID-19 restrictions protest in Brasilia. On Friday, 17 April, the Brazilian president fired Health Minister Luiz Henrique Mandetta who had repeatedly publicly disagreed with the president over the country�s COVID-19 response.

Brazil has 58,616 cases of coronavirus with over 4,000 related deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
